Malt Bomb

This full-bodied, slightly sweet Brown Ale has just the right combination of chocolate malt and hop bitterness to make your mouth explode from flavor, and also happens to be high in gravity at 6% ABV. There's a reason we call it Malt Bomb. You're welcome.

Quilter's Irish Death

Created by the brewery's founder, Quilter's Irish Death is what we call a dark, smooth, ale. Any attempt at classifying it just ends up sending beer geeks into a style guidelines diatribe. So forget style guidelines. Is your pursuit of micro beer about tasting copies of a style that fit guidelines anyways? (Neither is ours) Irish Death is a malt bomb. We lovingly refer to it as beer candy. We heart our candy store. While tempting to session this beer, the name is a necessary reminder that despite the surprising approachability, this beer weighs in at a hefty 7.8% ABV.

Light Rail Ale

We took some liberties with our interpretation of this Cream Ale, replacing the typically-used Noble hop with Domestic hops noted for their citrus flavors. The esters in the yeast add to a fruity middle. This gives us a crisp, clean-finishing ale that can serve as a 'gateway beer' of sorts... let's just say we hope to entice domestic drinkers into more, ah, INTERESTING waters. 4% ABV.

Double Rainbow Ale

Not quite red, not quite ipa but quite big. This beer is built upon a solid malt foundation of medium crystal, biscuit, and vienna for a considerable dose of toffee, bread and nutty flavors and aromas. We then laced the beer with hops throughout the process. First hops go into the first wort runoff and hops continue to be added through the boil, after boil, and then dry-hopped in our conditioning tanks at 37 degress. Ranbow 1 = MALT; Raibow 2 = HOPS: A double rainbow of flavors. 7.0% ABV
