Farmlandia

where professors and tractors coexist

a wheat beer fermented with a french saison yeast and aromatized with amarillo and willamette hops both in the kettle and dry hopped. What you think is cloves, coriander or lemon peels is actually yeast.¬†Farmlandia is made with pilsner malt which carries a larger malt and sweet flavor than basic brewers malt.¬†it’s a smooth refreshing spring-time beer with a distinct champagne like bubbliness.

The label really should mention this is a French saison. I was bummed to find that out after spending $6+ and craving a good golden ale (description on bottle… Golden, rustic, effervescent). Saison just can’t quench that craving :/

From a beer fan with a burgeoning taste for farmhouse ales, sours, and saisons, this beer is really awesome. I’d love to try and replicate it at home.
