Best Beer Pairings for Country Music

Iron Horse Brewery may not be all into cowboy boots, rodeos and guitar twang .. But it doesn’t mean our beer doesn’t pair well with good ol’ country music. From personal experience, I’ve put together a playlist of country music songs that pair well with each of our beer brands. Cheers, my friends!

Light Rail

This beer keeps it light while you head to the outskirts of town, grab a blanket, and cuddle up to watch the stars and listen to the trains passing by.

Night Train – Jason Aldean

High Five Hefe

Cruisin’ to the riverside through the wheat fields, this brew encourages a chill, yet fearless lifestyle. Honey tasting notes help reel in that sweet summertime full of BBQs, boats, and good company.

Barefoot Blue Jean Night – Jake Owen

509 Style509

Cheers to the 509 locals that respect traditions and value hard work. This beer is for the blue collar workers that appreciate a good football game, defend their homeland, and deserve a solid cold one.

Drinking Class – Lee Brice

Life Behind Bars

Choose your lifestyle wisely… Ride or die.

Something Bad – Miranda Lambert & Carrie Underwood

Send It

A canned beer with a lifestyle of crushin’ it. This hoppy pale reminds you to SEND IT anytime, anywhere with anyone because waiting can goddamn wait.

Crushin’ It – Brad Paisley

Hand Cannon

Hand Cannon pairs with this patriotic song due to its bursting of hops just like fireworks on the Fourth of July. Uncle Sam celebrates the red, white, and blue with a cold swig of this flavor-busting brew.

Quilters Irish DeathIrish Death

The beer that takes the cake. Bottle, draught, or can. That first taste beer your dad gave you when you were 16 and the beer that was there through the break up. The beer that celebrates, mourns, regrets, and satisfies in either the city or the woods. Everyone has their own memory with Irish Death and this song will give you more respect for beer than you ever thought possible.

Beer – Justin Moore

GRAMPS HAZY IPA

GRAMPS KNOWS THE SECRET TO LIFE. ALTHOUGH HE MAY BE A LITTLE HAZY, HE WANTS YOU TO BE EMBRACING EVERY MOMENT AS CLEARLY AS POSSIBLE. THIS SONG PAIRS WITH THIS BREW TO REMIND YOU TO SLOW DOWN, TAKE IT IN, AND BE PRESENT TODAY.

DON’T BLINK – KENNY CHESNEY

Crazy Aunt IPA

Crazy Aunt IPA keeps her Christmas lights up all year long, buys lingeries from Walmart, and does a lot of “whoo-hooing!” She’s kinda crazy, but we all love her because she’s just a product of how she was raised.

Redneck Woman – Gretchen Wilson

In-Law IPA (release date TBD)

This Imperial IPA reminds you of the time you met your other half’s parents. An in-your-face father threatens your livelihood when you want to take his daughter out, just like these hops threaten your tastebuds. It’s all for show, but it’s worth it as the flavors come together and make a perfect match.

Cleaning This Gun – Rodney Atkins

Double Rainbow

Remember that beer daze that got you seeing double? This hoppy, red beer will get you magical, just like Billy. On the dance floor, singing karaoke, and laughing the night away. This beer and song combo will seriously make you feel all the rainbows and good things.

Billy’s Got His Beer Goggles On – Neal McCoy

Mocha Death

Patiently waiting for the release of Mocha Death in cans, this song appropriately appreciates the value of a beer can. There is no better feeling than a cracking a cold one open, and when Mocha Death is the brew on the inside… [ you’re welcome ].

Beer Can – Luke Combs

Cozy Sweater

A song about being stuck in cold weather makes you want to cozy up with this beer and your sweetheart. “Distance makes the heart grow fonder…” or at least that’s what they say. By the time this beer is released in winter time, you’ll never want to let go.

Colder Weather – Zac Brown Band

Here’s the Spotify playlist if you want to download them all.
