If you’re stumped for a gift idea, what’s better than a brewery tour to see where Irish Death is made?
We’ve been allowing some of you into our super not-at-all secret brewing lair for a year now and here’s what happened:
One hundred forty-seven people registered for our IHB tours through official channels. Some of you bypassed our registration process and showed up anyway. High five for not following instructions, way to be an individual. But now everything you’re reading in this recap is a rough estimate. On top of that we had some private groups and beer clubs attend that would probably add in another 101ish people, plus we’ll count all 275 of you looky-loos who were peeking around at the last dirtbag carnival. So we got a lot of you out to the production facility checking out where we make Irish Death. It was rad.
We gave away 12 stainless steel growlers for winners of a cornhole toss challenge, and gave everyone who attended a super custom tour glass and we hope you were able to check off everything you did. You asked 267 questions and we provided the best answers we could. Some of you thought you met our head brewer tyson, but it was just a cardboard cutout of him.
The knowledgeable cousins who led your tours included: Rikki, Paul (he has since moved to California), Jared, Jake, Karina (she also moved, *tears) and Aimee. Hats off to those cousins for coming to work on a Saturday to walk you around and show you what they do.
Since it was mostly a success we’ve decided to keep the tour program in place another year. Advance registration will again be required because if we don’t have anyone officially signed up, we’re not requiring our cousins to work.
And seeing as it’s the holidays and you probably still have no idea what to get for your in-laws, we’re going to suggest you sign them up for a brewery tour. That means next time they visit you’ll have an excuse to drink while showing them the local culture.
Here are the dates of the IHB Production Facility tours for 2018 although they are subject to change if we decide they need to:

My sons and I would like to tour your brewery. How would I be able to get on the list of fortunate souls that get to?
Thank you
