Iron Horse Brewery Announces the Return of the Cozy Community Fund
Drinking beer helps other people. So does partying at [ the pub ].

ELLENSBURG, WA  (October 13, 2016) Cozy Sweater is back and is accompanied by a new beer this year, Cozy-er Sweater. Cozy Sweater, a vanilla milk stout is now available in six pack 12oz cans. Cozy-er Sweater, an imperial oatmeal and molasses stout aged on hard maple is only available in 22oz bottles. These brother beers complement this time of year and act as a company reminder to help those who might not be very cozy this holiday season.

Cozy Community Fund
In conjunction with the seasonal release of the Cozy Sweater six packs and Cozy-er Sweater bottles, consumers will have the opportunity to support the Cozy Community Fund. For the last six years, IHB along with other Kittitas County businesses have collected money and services to help families in need.

This year their goal is to raise $5,000 in goods and services. For every case of Cozy Sweater six packs sold in Kittitas County between Oct. 15 and Nov. 15, $5.00 will go toward the fund. A portion of the entry fee to the Cozy Sweater Party held at [ the pub ]  on Dec. 2 will also go towards the fund. In past years, funds raised supported car repairs, clothing donations, kids toys, home repairs and food donations.

To learn more about the fund or to nominate Kittitas County families in need go to ihor.se/nom. IHB will accept donations and family nominations until Dec 11. A family will be selected between Dec. 12 and Dec 13. Donated items and services will be delivered the week of Dec. 20. Donations can be made by emailing nicole@ironhorsebrewery.com

“As a new dad, it’s become especially important to me to support families in need,” said Ross Chalstrom, interloper of press release quotes. “I can tell you, as a dad myself, that these are not easy times to raise children. Any financial burden we can relieve from families allows them to spend more time together instead of worrying about basic needs,” Chalstrom reiterated to anyone who would listen.
